Fan Shroud: Removal

  1. Disconnect the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor and Mass Airflow (MAF) sensor. See Figure. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct.
  2. Release the retaining strap latches. Lift the air cleaner housing cover off. Remove the air cleaner element. Remove the radiator support bolts and the radiator support.
  3. Remove the wiring harness from the rosebud clips on the fan shroud. Disconnect the cooling fan electrical components.
  4. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Remove the fan shroud.
