Removal (Right Side)

  1. Remove the right side valve rocker arm cover. See VALVE COVERS . Remove the spark plugs. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the right side catalytic converter. See CATALYTIC CONVERTER .
  3. Remove the exhaust manifold bolts. See Figure. Remove the exhaust manifold and gasket. Discard the gasket. Remove the heat shield bolts and heat shield from the manifold, if required.
