Engine Compartment Fuel Line Replacement: Installation

  1. Remove the caps from the fuel pipes.
  2. Connect the engine compartment fuel feed pipe to the chassis fuel feed pipe. See Figure.
  3. Connect the engine compartment fuel feed pipe to the fuel rail.
  4. Tighten the fuel filler cap. Connect the negative battery cable.
  5. Inspect for leaks.
    • Turn ON the ignition for 2 seconds.
    • Turn OFF the ignition for 10 seconds.
    • Turn ON the ignition.
    • Inspect for fuel leaks.
