Crossover Pipe: Installation

  1. Slide the crossover pipe into the exhaust muffler. Install the crossover pipe over the studs on the left side and right side catalytic converters. Slide the crossover pipe forward to align the components.
  2. Install the right side and left side catalytic converter nuts. Tighten the catalytic converter nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Install the right side and left side exhaust manifold pipe nuts. See Figure and Figure . Tighten the exhaust manifold pipe nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. Install the catalytic converter hanger. Install the catalytic converter hanger bolts. Tighten the catalytic converter hanger bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  5. Lower the vehicle.
