Crankshaft Front Oil Seal: Removal

NOTE: Front oil seal can be replaced without removing front cover.
  1. Remove the crankshaft balancer. See CRANKSHAFT BALANCER .
  2. Gently pry the crankshaft oil seal from the front cover. See Figure.
