Installation (Right Side)

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Firebird and 2002 Chevrolet Camaro. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install a NEW catalytic converter gasket. See Figure. Install the right side catalytic converter. Install the exhaust manifold nuts. Tighten the exhaust manifold nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  2. Install the oxygen sensors. See Figure. Tighten the oxygen sensors to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Connect the oxygen sensor harness connectors. Install the Connector Position Assurance (CPA) locks. Install the exhaust crossover pipe. See CROSSOVER PIPE .
