Installation (Left Side)

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Firebird and 2002 Chevrolet Camaro. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install a NEW catalytic converter gasket. Install the left side catalytic converter.
  2. Install the exhaust manifold nuts. See Figure. Tighten the exhaust manifold nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Install the oxygen sensor. See Figure. Tighten the oxygen sensor to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. Connect the oxygen sensor harness connector. Install the Connector Position Assurance (CPA) lock. Install the exhaust crossover pipe. See CROSSOVER PIPE .
