Accessory Drive Belt: Removal

- Disconnect the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor and Mass Airflow (MAF) sensor. See Fig 1.
- Remove the air intake duct from the throttle body and air cleaner box.
- Install a breaker bar with hex-head socket to the driver belt tensioner bolt. Rotate the drive belt tensioner clockwise in order to relieve tension on the belt.
- Remove the belt from the pulleys and the drive belt tensioner. See Fig 2. Remove the breaker bar and socket from the drive belt tensioner bolt. Clean and inspect the belt surface of all the pulleys.
