Cylinder Bore Ridge Reaming

  1. Use the Cylinder Bore Ridge Reamer (J-24270), in order to remove the cylinder bore ring ridge, if required. See Fig 1.
    • Turn the crankshaft until the piston is at the bottom of the stroke.
    • Place a cloth on top of the piston.
    • Use the reamer in order to remove cylinder ring ridge.
    • Turn the crankshaft so the piston is at the top of the stroke.
    • Remove the cloth.
    • Remove the cutting debris from the cylinder and piston.
