Oil Level Indicator Tube: Installation

  1. Lubricate the "O" ring seal with clean engine oil. Install the "O" ring seal onto the oil level indicator tube. See Figure.
  2. Install the oil level indicator tube. Install the oil level indicator tube into the engine block and rotate into position. Tube must be installed with the collar flush to the engine block.
  3. Install the oil level indicator tube bolt. Tighten the oil level indicator bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install the oil level indicator.
  4. Install the No. 4 and 6 ignition coils to the coil bracket. Tighten the ignition coil bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install the No. 4 and 6 spark plug wires.
