Diagnostic Aids

Following conditions may cause an intermittent malfunction:

Intermittent short to ground in left window motor circuits (Dark Blue wire or Brown wire).
Left window motor is shorted to ground internally.
Left window motor circuit is shorted to voltage, allowing operation in one direction only in certain directions depending on circuit affected.

Using scan tool, select LDCM inputs and monitor left window motor load while operating left window up and down. If scan tool displays motor load a zero, check left window motor circuit for opens.
