HVAC Control Assembly: Removal

- Remove the accessory trim plate. See Fig 1. Remove HVAC control assembly screws. See Fig 2. Remove the HVAC control assembly from the instrument panel to access the vacuum, electrical and temperature cable.
- Disconnect the vacuum harness connector from the HVAC control assembly. See Fig 3. Disconnect the following electrical connectors from the HVAC control assembly:
- HVAC Mode Switch
- HVAC Control Illumination
- HVAC Blower Switch
- Rear Defogger
- Remove the temperature control cable from the HVAC control assembly. When releasing the control cable clips, use a small screwdriver to remove the cable from the control.
