Removal & Installation: Accumulator: Installation

- If accumulator is being replaced, drain and measure amount of refrigerant oil in old accumulator. Install the NEW O-ring. Install the accumulator to the bracket. Install the accumulator bracket bolt. Tighten the accumulator bracket bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install the accumulator hose bracket nut to the strut tower. Tighten the accumulator hose bracket nut to specification.
- Install the accumulator bolt to the module. Tighten the accumulator bolt to specification. Install the A/C compressor hose assembly bolt to the accumulator. Tighten the A/C compressor hose assembly bolt to specification. Evacuate and charge the refrigerant system.
