Diagnostic Aids
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2000 Chevrolet Corvette. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
The following conditions may cause an intermittent:
- Intermittent short to ground or open in Light Green wire between Body Control Module (BCM) and right Daytime Running Lights (DRL) relay
- Poor connections at BCM, instrument panel electrical center or right DRL relay
- Internal open or short in right DRL relay.
If Light Green wire between BCM and right DRL relay is shorted to ground, right DRL will stay on at all times. If Light Green wire between BCM and right DRL relay is open, right DRL will stay off at all times.
