- If DTC does not reset after code is cleared, problem may be intermittent. While performing tests, move wires and connectors. Following conditions may also cause an intermittent malfunction:
- Intermittent open or short to ground in Orange wire circuit between instrument panel electrical center and Seat Control Module (SCM).
- Battery voltage is not 8.5-16.3 volts.
- Charging system malfunction.
- Using scan tool, select SCM data display and monitor BATTERY 2 voltage while test driving vehicle and operating different devices (windows, door locks, power mirrors). This will determine if battery 2 voltage is affected by these devices and can help duplicate malfunction.
