Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .
  2. Disconnect the following electrical connectors:
    • Intake air temperature sensor
    • Mass airflow sensor

  3. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct.

  4. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp from the water outlet.

  5. Remove the radiator outlet hose from the water outlet.
  6. Raise and support the vehicle.
  7. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp from the radiator.
  8. Remove the radiator outlet hose (2) from the radiator.
