Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .
  2. Disconnect the following electrical connectors:
    • Intake air temperature sensor
    • Mass airflow sensor

  3. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct.

  4. Reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp from the radiator.
  5. Remove the radiator inlet hose (1) from the radiator.

  6. Reposition the inlet hose clamps from the power steering cooler, if equipped.
  7. Remove the inlet hoses from the power steering cooler, if equipped.

  8. Reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp from the water pump.
  9. Remove the radiator inlet hose from the water pump.
