Removal & Installation: Seatback: Removal

  1. Remove front seat. See POWER SEAT  under Removal & Installation. Remove screws from hinge arm trim cover and remove cover from recliner mechanism. Remove bolts attaching recliner mechanism to seat cushion frame. On front seats without removable headrest, remove bolt attaching seat back frame to seat back cushion. On front seats with removable headrest, remove seat back from seat cushion by unsnapping seat back frame from seat back pivot bushing.
