Removal & Installation: Seatback: Installation

  1. On front seats with removable headrest, install the front seat back pivot bushing. Install seat back to seat cushion frame. On front seats without removable headrest, install bolt that attaches seat back frame to seat cushion frame. Install bolts/screws to recliner mechanism. Tighten bolt to 24 N.m (18 lb ft). Install hinge arm cover to recliner mechanism, and install bolts/screws to trim cover. Tighten bolts to 1.7 N.m (15 lb in). Install front seat. See POWER SEAT  under Removal & Installation.
