Seatback Cover: Installation

  1. Install pad to frame, if required. Install seatback cover. Install screws and hog rings to cover. Tighten screws to N.m (9 lb in). Install seatback. See SEATBACK  under Removal & Installation. Install headrest to seat. Install front seat. See POWER SEAT  under Removal & Installation. Remove protective tape from trim and paint.


  1. Install seat back to cushion frame. Install bolt connecting seat back frame to seat cushion frame. Tighten bolt to 24 N.m (18 lb in). Install bolts to recliner mechanism. Tighten bolts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft). Install hinge arm trim cover to recliner mechanism. Install screws to trim cover. Tighten screws to 1.7 N.m (15 lb in). Install front seat. See POWER SEAT  under Removal & Installation.
