Inflatable Lumbar Supports

Inflatable lumbar and side lateral supports is optional equipment for Firebird only. Power for inflatable lumbar support pump assembly is supplied by a 30-amp circuit breaker located in instrument panel fuse block. Operation is controlled by a lumbar adjuster switch located on seat side. Adjustments are made by solenoid valves located in power seat cushion air control module. Pump assembly is part of power seat cushion air control module. Since power seat cushion air control module contains one pump for both seats, only one seat can be adjusted at a time.
