Wiper/Washer Switch: Removal

  1. Disable air bag system. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article. Remove lock housing assembly. See LOCK HOUSING ASSEMBLY  under Removal & installation. Remove wiper/washer switch actuator pivot pin.
    2. NOTE: Use caution when pulling wiper/washer switch harness through steering column.
  2. Remove wiper/washer switch from lock housing assembly. Remove the wire protector shield. Remove wiper/washer switch harness connector from bulkhead connector. Pull wiper/washer switch harness connector through steering column.
