Wiper/Washer Switch: Installation

  1. Install the windshield wiper and washer switch assembly to the lock housing cover and sleeve assembly. Lubricate the switch actuator pivot pin. Install the wiper/washer switch actuator pivot pin into the lock housing assembly.
    2. NOTE: Carefully pull on all wires to remove any kinks that may be inside steering column.
  2. Pull wiper/washer switch harness connector through the steering column. Install wiper/washer switch assembly connector to bulkhead connector. Install the wire protector shield. Install the lock housing assembly. See LOCK HOUSING ASSEMBLY  under Removal & Installation. Enable air bag system. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article.
