DTC 25/35: Security Indicator Status: Description
NOTE:
DTC 35 is required for Content Theft Deterrent (CTD) operation. SECURITY indicator must be detected for alarm to function.
Body Control Module (BCM) contains Content Theft Deterrent (CTD) system logic. For CTD system to function properly, BCM must sense presence of THEFT Light Emitting Diode (LED) as an input. During every ignition cycle, BCM attempts to sense presence of LED indicator.
