Removal (Without Electronic Traction Control)
- Rotate throttle lever rearward. Push down cable end to remove it from the throttle lever pin. Using a flat-blade tool, push in cable retainer at the throttle body bracket. Slide cruise control cable up from the throttle body bracket. Remove the cruise control cable from under the accelerator/cruise control cable servo bracket. Lay the throttle body end of cruise control cable down near cruise control module. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
- Remove the left front bumper fascia lower deflector. Remove cruise control module bracket bolts. Remove cruise control module and bracket from the left side engine compartment outer rail. Unsnap and remove the cruise control module cover. Remove the electrical connector retainer. Disconnect the cruise control module electrical connector.
- Remove the cable locking retainer from the module. Compress the conduit tangs. Pull the cruise control cable out from the module. Unhook the cable bead from the module ribbon. Remove the cruise control module to bracket bolts. Remove the cruise control module from the bracket.
