Removal (With Electronic Traction Control)

  1. Unsnap and remove the cruise control servo cable adjuster cover. Rotate the upper cam, and remove the cruise control cable slug from the servo cable adjuster. Unsnap the locking tab and remove the cable from the slot. Lay the throttle body end of the cruise control cable down near the cruise control module. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the left front bumper fascia lower deflector. Remove the cruise control module bracket bolts. Remove the cruise control module and bracket from the left side engine compartment outer rail. Unsnap and remove the cruise control module cover. Remove the electrical connector retainer. Disconnect the cruise control module electrical connector.
  3. Remove the cable locking retainer from the module. Compress the conduit tangs. Pull the cruise control cable out from the module. Unhook the cable bead from the module ribbon. Remove the cruise control module to bracket bolts. Remove the cruise control module from the bracket.
