Removal (With Electronic Traction Control)

  1. Unsnap and remove the cruise control servo cable adjuster cover. Rotate upper cam and remove the cruise control cable slug from the servo cable adjuster. Unsnap locking tab and remove cable from slot. Unsnap cruise control cable from accelerator control cable clip. Remove cruise control cable from under the accelerator/cruise control cable servo bracket. Remove the cruise control cable clip from the brake booster.
  2. Raise and support vehicle. Remove left front bumper fascia lower deflector. Disconnect the cruise control cable rosebud clip from the brake pipe clip. Remove 2 bolts and one nut from cruise control module shield. Remove cruise control module shield.
  3. Unsnap and remove cruise control module cover. Remove cruise control module retainer. Compress conduit tangs and pull cable out of cruise control module. Disconnect cable bead from cruise motor band end fitting on cruise control module.
