DTC P1574: Sudden Decrease In Vehicle Speed On Non-Drive Wheel: Description

A non-drive wheel speed and stoplight switch status are supplied to Powertrain Control Module (PCM) through serial data from Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM). If a 2.5 MPH or more decrease of a non-drive wheel speed in 0.4 seconds without a signal of stoplight switch contacts, DTC P1574 is set. A history DTC will clear after 40 consecutive warm-up cycles with no failures of any non-emission related DTC. A current DTC will clear when criteria runs and does not fail.
