Diagnostic Aids
Remove any debris from Powertrain Control Module (PCM) harness connector. Inspect PCM harness connector gasket for correct installation. Test drive vehicle if a switch or circuit fault cannot be located. An intermittent condition may be duplicated during test drive. Freeze frame and failure records data can aid in determining how many miles since DTC was set. Test drive vehicle within freeze frame condition such as: RPM, load, vehicle speed, temperature, etc.
