One-Piece Drive Shafts

If runout exceeds specifications, rotate drive shaft 180 degrees at pinion flange and install. Check runout again. If excessive runout still exists, inspect drive shaft for damage. Check drive shaft for straightness. Check that universal joints are mounted properly at drive shaft and yoke.
