Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Locating Seal On The Shift Lever And TORX(R) Head Shift Lever Screw (Without Tow/Haul Switch)

  1. Install the shift lever (1).
  2. Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.

    Install the TORX® head screw (2).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screw to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in).

  3. Roll the seal over the TORX® head screw (2).
