Flexplate to Torque Converter Bolts

Removal Procedure





1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the torque converter cover. Refer to Torque Converter Cover Replacement.
3. Remove the starter motor. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement in Starting and Charging.
4. Remove the flywheel to torque converter bolts.

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Install the flywheel to torque converter bolts.
^ Tighten the flywheel to torque converter bolts to 63 Nm (47 ft. lbs.).
2. Install the starter motor. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement in Starting and Charging.
3. Install the torque converter cover. Refer to Torque Converter Cover Replacement.
4. Lower the vehicle.
