Low Tire Pressure Indicator: Description and Operation

The LOW OIL PRESSURE message may only be ON during RUN. The IPC illuminates the LOW OIL PRESSURE message when the PCM sends a class 2 serial data message requesting illumination due to low or failed engine oil pressure. The IPC also sends a message to the BCM to chime continuously when the condition exists.
