Air Shock Absorber or Strut Description

The air shocks are conventional shocks combined with air springs. The construction of the air shocks incorporates a rubber sleeve which attaches to a dust tube and a reservoir tube. This sleeve forms a flexible chamber which extends the shock when filled with pressurized air. A minimum pressure of 55 - 97 kPa (8 - 14 psi) must be maintained in the air chamber at all times in order to maintain proper operation and reliability of the air shock.
