Windshield Washer Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the underhood relay/fuse center.
2. Remove the diagonal brace.
3. Remove the battery.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the front and rear washer pumps.
5. Disconnect the hoses from the washer pumps.




6. Remove the three screws and the washer solvent container from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




1. Install the washer solvent container onto the vehicle with three screws.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 6 N.m (53 lb in).




2. Connect the hoses to the washer pumps.
3. Connect the electrical connectors to the washer pumps.
4. Install the battery.
5. Install the diagonal brace.
6. Install the underhood relay/fuse center.
