Seat Belt Buckle Pretensioner Replacement - LH

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Perform the Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming Procedure.
2. Remove the driver seat.
3. Remove the driver seat adjuster track cover (1).




4. Remove the nut (1) from the driver seat belt pretensioner.




5. Route the driver seat belt pretensioner wiring harness (1) through the driver seat bottom frame.
6. Remove the driver seat belt pretensioner (2) from the driver seat bottom frame.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the driver seat belt pretensioner (2) to the driver seat bottom frame.
2. Route the driver seat belt pretensioner wiring harness (1) through the driver seat bottom frame.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




3. Install the nut (1) to the driver seat belt pretensioner.

Tighten
Tighten the driver seat belt pretensioner nut to 35 N.m (26 lb ft).




4. Install the driver seat adjuster track cover (1).
5. Install the driver seat.
6. Enable the SIR system. Refer to the Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming Procedure.
