Rear (Bucket Seat)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

TOOLS REQUIRED
J 29843-9 Door Lock Striker and Seat Belt Torx(R) Wrench

IMPORTANT: Avoid damaging the bucket seat cushion cover when removing the rear bucket seat buckle side belts.

1. Carefully move the seat cushion cover away from the buckle side belt in order to expose the bolt.
2. Use the J29843-9 in order to remove the bolt securing the buckle side belt from the seat.
3. Remove the buckle side belt from the seat.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

TOOLS REQUIRED
J29843-9 Door Lock Striker and Seat Belt Torx(R) Wrench

1. Install the buckle side belt to the seat.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Use the J 29843-9 in order to install the bolt securing the rear seat bucket side belt to the seat.

Tighten
Tighten the rear seat buckle belt bolt to 53 N.m (39 lb ft).

3. Carefully reposition the cushion cover down over the buckle side belt bolt.
