Canister Vent Valve: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in Service Precautions.
2. Disconnect the EVAP vent valve electrical connector.
3. Remove the EVAP vent valve from the bracket (3).
4. Disconnect the vent hose from EVAP vent valve.
5. Remove the valve from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the EVAP vent valve (3).
2. Connect the vent hose. Canister vent hose should be routed below the fuel tank fill and vent hoses.
3. Connect the EVAP vent valve electrical connector.
4. Lower the vehicle.
