Enabling

1. Connect the passenger seat belt pretensioner yellow 2-way connector (3) located under the front passenger seat.
2. Install the Connector Position Assurance (CPA) to the passenger seat belt pretensioner yellow 2-way connector (3).
3. Connect the passenger side air bag yellow 2-way connector (4) located under the front passenger seat.
4. Install the connector position assurance (CPA) to the passenger side air bag yellow 2-way connector (4).




5. Connect the driver seat belt pretensioner yellow 2-way connector (3) located under the driver seat.
6. Install the connector position assurance (CPA) to the driver seat belt pretensioner yellow 2-way connector (3).
7. Connect the driver side air bag yellow 2-way connector (4) located under the driver seat.
8. Install the connector position assurance (CPA) to the driver side air bag yellow 2-way connector (4).




9. Connect the passenger frontal air bag yellow 2-way connector (1) located behind the right insulator panel.
10. Install the connector position assurance (CPA) (2) to the passenger frontal air bag yellow 2-way connector (1).
11. Install the right insulator panel.




12. Connect the driver frontal air bag yellow 2-way connector (2) located at the base of the steering column.
13. Install the connector position assurance (CPA) (3) to the driver frontal air bag yellow 2-way connector (2).
14. Install the left insulator panel.
15. Install the SDM Fuse to the fuse block.
16. Staying well away from the airbags and pretensioners, turn ON the ignition.
16.1. The AIR BAG warning lamp will flash seven times.
16.2. The AIR BAG warning lamp will then turn OFF.
17. Perform A Diagnostic System Check - SIR if the AIR BAG warning lamp does not operate as described.
