Engine Oil Pressure Indicator Switch

The DRL control module uses the Engine Oil Pressure Indicator Switch to control operation of the low beam headlamps and exterior lamps during the vehicle start up cycle. After the vehicle is running and the engine oil pressure increases, the Engine Oil Pressure Indicator Switch will open signaling the DRL control module to activate the headlamps.
