Center Mounted Brake Lamp: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
The high-mounted stoplamp has a LED circuit board which is not serviced as a separate part. The entire high-mounted stoplamp must be replaced if the LED circuit board fails.
1. Remove the screws from the high-mounted stoplamp.
2. Remove the high-mounted stoplamp from the body.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the electrical connector.
2. Install the high-mounted stoplamp to the body.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the screws to the high-mounted stoplamp.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
