Air Outlet Replacement - Center Floor

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the front seats.
2. Remove the center console.
3. Remove the console bracket.
4. Remove the carpet retainers.
5. Pull the front of the carpet rearward.
6. Remove the floor duct brace.
7. Remove the floor duct from the heater A/C module and the lower floor duct.
8. Unsnap the lower floor air outlet duct from the studs and the holes in the floor reinforcement.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Snap the lower floor air outlet duct to the studs and the holes in the floor reinforcement.
2. Install the floor duct to the lower floor duct and the heater A/C module.
3. Install the floor duct brace.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the floor duct brace retaining nuts.

Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m ( 89 lb in).

5. Install the front carpet into position.
6. Install the carpet retainers.
7. Install the console bracket.
8. Install the center console.
9. Install the front seats.
