Temperature Actuator Replacement - Auxiliary

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the left side rear quarter trim.
2. Remove the upper mounting bolts and nut to the heater A/C module and reposition rearward enough for access.
3. Disconnect electrical connector at the temperature valve electric actuator.




4. Remove the screws securing the temperature valve electric actuator.
5. Remove the temperature valve electric actuator.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the temperature valve electric actuator.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the temperature valve electric actuator mounting screws.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).




3. Install the electrical connector to the temperature valve electric actuator.
4. Install the upper mounting bolts to the heater A/C module.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts and nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

5. Install the left side rear quarter trim.
