Engine Mount Strut Bracket Replacement (Right Side)

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the right engine mount strut from the right engine mount strut bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement (Left) or Engine Mount Strut Replacement (Right).





2. Remove the engine oil cooler coolant line bracket bolt. Refer to Oil Cooler Line Replacement (Inlet) or Oil Cooler Line Replacement (Outlet).
3. Remove the engine wiring harness bracket bolt.





4. Remove the air conditioning compressor mounting bolts.
5. Remove and set the air conditioning compressor aside.





6. Remove the vertical engine mount strut bracket bolt from the right engine mount strut bracket.
7. Remove the lower engine mount strut bracket bolt from the right engine mount strut bracket.
8. Remove the right engine mount strut bracket.

Installation Procedure





1. Position the right engine mount strut bracket over the pin locator.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the lower engine mount strut bracket bolt through the right engine mount strut bracket into the cylinder block.
^ Tighten the engine mount strut bracket bolt to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the vertical engine mount strut bracket bolt through the right engine mount strut bracket to the cylinder head.
^ Tighten the engine mount strut bracket bolt to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the air conditioning compressor. Refer to Compressor Replacement in Heating and Air Conditioning.
5. Install the engine wiring harness bracket bolt.
^ Tighten the engine wiring harness bracket bolt to 13 Nm (110 inch lbs.).





6. Install the engine oil cooler coolant line bracket bolt. Refer to Oil Cooler Line Replacement (Inlet) or Oil Cooler Line Replacement (Outlet).





7. Install the right engine mount strut to the right engine mount strut bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement (Left) or Engine Mount Strut Replacement (Right).
