The throttle body cooling system assists in maintaining the proper temperature of the throttle body under various ambient conditions. Engine coolant flows around the throttle body via passages in the casting. During initial start up, the throttle body cooling system assists in warming the throttle body. During normal operating temperatures, the throttle body cooling system assists in keeping the throttle body cool.
