Liftgate Pull Strap Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the liftgate.




2. Remove the screws (2) from the pull strap (1).
3. Remove the pull strap (1) from the liftgate.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the pull strap (1) to the lift gate.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the pull strap screws (2).

Tighten the pullstrap retaining screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

3. Close the liftgate.
