Hood Insulator Replacement

Tools Required

J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover


Removal Procedure

1. Open and support the hood.




2. Use J 38778 in order to remove the push-in retainers from the hood insulator.
3. Remove the hood insulator tabs from the hood inner panel.
4. Remove the hood insulator from the hood.



Installation Procedure





1. Align the hood insulator to the hood.
2. Install the hood insulator tabs into the hood inner panel.
3. Install the push-in retainers to the hood insulator.
4. Close the hood.
