Front Side Door Lock Striker Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the front door.
2. Scribe the location of the existing front door lock striker on the B-pillar with a grease pencil.




3. Remove the front door lock striker screws.
4. Remove the front door lock striker from B-pillar.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the front door lock striker to the scribed location on the B-pillar.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the front door lock striker screws.

Tighten the screws to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).


Important:
* Ensure that the front door striker properly engages with the front door lock once the front door is adjusted within the door frame.

* Use the front door striker in order to ensure the front door is flush.

* DO NOT use the front door striker in order to raise or lower the front door.



3. Close the front door.
