Rear Bumper Fascia Splash Shield Replacement

Tools Required

J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover


Removal Procedure





1. Use J 38778 in order to push in the retainers from the lower rear bumper fascia splash shield.
2. Remove the bolt/screws from the upper rear bumper fascia splash shield.
3. Remove the rear bumper fascia splash shield from the rear bumper fascia.



Installation Procedure

1. Align the rear bumper fascia splash shield to the rear bumper fascia.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.





2. Install the bolt/screw to the upper rear bumper fascia splash shield.

Tighten the bolt/screw to 2 N.m (19 lb in).

3. Push in the retainers to the lower rear bumper fascia splash shield.
