Antenna Cable: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: This vehicle contains 2 antenna cables. These procedures are applicable to both of the antenna cables.




1. Remove the radio.
2. Remove the right instrument panel insulator.
3. Remove the right cowl side trim panel.
4. Remove the headliner front.
5. Remove the antenna cable extension to roof bolt.




6. Remove the antenna cable from the instrument panel carrier.




7. Remove the following components from the vehicle:
^ The antenna cable
^ The antenna cable extension

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the following components to the vehicle:
^ The antenna cable
^ The antenna cable extension




2. Install the antenna cable to the instrument panel carrier.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




3. Install the antenna cable extension to roof bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 3.2 N.m (28 lb in).

4. Install the headliner front.
5. Install the right cowl side trim panel.
6. Install the right instrument panel insulator.
7. Install the radio.
